Helga kinda wants to be like Medea in Your Throne, except Helga is too narrow-minded, bc Medea is amazing. and even she knows when to accept help, but to be fair she doesn’t need it. Helga’s goals won’t be undermined by knowing Helianne. Or Rohan. Tbh if anything it will make life worse for her later on
Why is she mad at the sister who did everything for her instead of the just the parents themselves..? The series feels a little dragged on with no character improvement from helga in the past 4 years..
Her resentment is misplaced! But at the same time that false hope to Helianna isn’t good for her i agree but they (Ducal house) could also use their relationship against Helga and try to make her come back if she stays to close to her sister. But she didn’t have to hurt her like that! I mean, she doesnt want the Title but she could at least be on “good terms” with her?
Don’t forget that helga was abused all her life, while Helianne was raised with love for the 1st mother and … well some kind of twisted love from the second. Helga just want to exist in the world where her family rejected her. It’s a bit twisted but for her she can only exist by being recognised for her achievement. That’s why she’s dead set on standing only by her own power. Also she maybe is a savage with her words, but remember that she is only honest and direct with people she values. She never talks directly to other 😉
I get that her intentions could be muddled by the involvement of Rohan and Helianne, but man, she could have been more tactful than that. Helianne is a great sister but Helga doesn’t treat her right. She could have at least told her that she wanted to stand on her own two feet before accepting Helianne again. -rep Helga
