MC is not likeable at all. In situations where a “fair fight” and a test of proficiency is given he just uses magic. He’s essentially cheating. Then they write off everything with “he’s a genius.” Maybe a genius at magic but training the body is different. For him to also instantly understand the concept and usage of swordsmanship is just stupid. There’s no effort. There’s no struggle. It’s the “it took me a whole day to master this. That was tough.” When clearly it wasn’t hard at all even when it takes most people 5 years to master. He’s in a spar with a guy not using magic but uses it when he’s about to lose. Then he has the audacity to say “wow. He’s still upset?” Go fuck yourself.
