I don’t blame him for how he acted when they were married. (It doesn’t justify him yelling at her and leaving her alone for so long) He lost his family pretty much one by one, the war ruined him, he never got to say sorry to his sister, like he went through a lot and the fact he’s even doing a little to try and show he does care for his wife was actually admirable. He wasn’t the best husband, but considering what he went through and how much it broke him, he really did try.
