I think she made the right decision for herself tbh. Do you guys not understand by now that this woman has lived with A LOT of regrets. I feel like when you’ve lived an entire life that you just completely fumbled and hated yourself then you would do things very differently in your next one. She wasn’t brave and she wasn’t self-reliant in her last life. She always depended on the ML, but didn’t even get along with him because again she was a coward. She didn’t talk things out, face her problems, communicate her desires or fears effectively or sometimes at all! The ML was also not a great communicator and avoidant. I think she made a decision she could live with for the rest of her life. If the ML loves her and still wants a life with her then he will make it work. And if she wants to stick beside him as much as he does, she will also do what it takes. If it doesn’t work out, oh well 🤷♀️ He avoided the worst fate so far aka being completely depressed and holed up in his house with no family/dead sister. And the female lead has grown strong enough to stand on her own and make a living by herself! She can always be a nurse anywhere. She just decided to stay at the manor because she loves the ML and his sister! I think it’s time for both of them to stand on business lol. Like if y’all love each other for real then stay together even as she’s locked up 🤣 she’ll get out eventually and y’all can get married after lol

Now I know ML doesn’t have a fault in the past. So the title of this story is kinda unfair. ML prevented FL from going outside because he knew how dangerous it is because war just ended and there is a lot of rebellion going on.
HOWEVER, this wishy washy FL has been itching to do something in her life… Always complaining that she is bored. BUT remember that she doesn’t even have any money. She also don’t know how to to wash her own laundry. And doesn’t know anything to earn a wage.
She always give trouble to ML, who saved her from bankruptcy. Fed her, Clothed Her, Protected Her under a shelter. If not for ML, this FL would already be slaved and tortured from the people who hated her family and nobility. She’s already lucky enough that she was sheltered under ML that doesn’t assault her.
Yet, she is still not contented with life, because she is too ignorant of the world. There’s a quote that “a little knowledge is dangerous” and that os exactly what I can describe FL.
Nothing is wrong being hyper righteous, but she should have discussed this to the lawyer if she wanted to provide a different statement. So that other people will not be implicated by her stupidity.

It isn’t even about savior complex, it’s about principles. The FL was always righteous and cares for others. That’s why she wanted to be a nurse. Sure, the guy sold her out, but it is NOT our FL’s personality to sell someone out to save herself. It is against her conscience to lie. I would be more surprised and disgusted if she did.

FL is making me angry 😡 FL is so stupid here in this chapter. FL wants to be in jail despite the effort the ML put through. Then be in jail girl you want it. 🙄
