   Mostly in clinical settings, interns are easily overwhelmed by dropping vitals clouding their judgment. Other HCW could initiate early or unnecessary intubation, and waiting for resident’s order could lead to late intubation. Seasoned nurses and respiratory therapist would be a big help for interns in real life scenarios. In this case, status asthmaticus is an indication for intubation.
