That was so scummy of her to use her uncle

Actually if a nobleman dies with no written or official successor then title and money would go to the emperor, also the capital is probably a place where only nobles are allowed to live and commoners can only come to work, also no one is stupid enough to hide their mistress where anyone can find her so he clearly just takes a carriage to the house (probably right outside the capital) that he hid her in. Also I believe she mentioned that the og ml didn’t end up marrying the og fl.

So if the party who initiates the divorce supposed to pay their ex, the husband of of villainess should’ve paid her money and she probably could’ve taken him to court to get it. Also the og villainess should’ve still gotten her uncle’s estimate and money regardless of her knowing him or not. She was his closest living relative and even if he willed the money to someone else she still would’ve gotten the title and wouldn’t have been kicked out of the city. Which is another odd thing, if only titled people are aloud in the city then what about the servents, shop owners, workers who work at these shops, delivery people and such, where do they live? And didn’t the husband’s reputation fall for having an affair and marring a slave and treating his wife bad, like what fl pointed out the threat of what would happen if he didn’t divorce her? Their trying to make the fl seem clever for things that should’ve stood true fir the og villainess.
