It’s poor writing mostly. Because we spent too much time dealing with her family. I wouldn’t say too much time but the ML/FL are being overshadowed by house Stacker and the FL husband’s drama. They don’t spend enough time together to like each other this much. It’s like the author is like here, see they are a couple with a few scenes.

Imma be real honest. I don’t feel.anything from them. No chemistry no tingling I really don’t cafe about them. That’s what I dislike about these kind of love stories. There’s literally no soul in both of them they seem so emotionless, maybe it’s also the art? Idk
