Plant was and wasn’t at the same time. Eating just the leaf was, but along with the root it wasn’t. Also I believe @VanquishR is forgetting that assassination attempts are so common that even if the lady wasn’t there of her own accord, it could have still been an assassination attempt. The older sister also has zero reason to like her sister at this point.

I’m gonna be honest. It’s gonna take a lot for this older sister to get redemption. Surely she could have seen that her younger sister meant no harm and only wanted peace from her suffering. Yet, she cruelly refused to do anything for her, allowing a myriad of attempts on her life, and ultimately taking her life herself. Some inane infatuation because she’s cute isn’t gonna cut it. Like seriously, she just tried to shove an obvious poisonous plant into a young child’s mouth. Start out by being a good human being and sister and maybe we can go from there.
