And this ability is a major plot in the future chaps. It makes her the target of Aceras (Yes he will become villain as hikan won’t due to dahlia’s purification ability) because he finds out her ability. She doesn’t know it tho, The emperor and aceras do.

That may very well be the case. But that wouldn’t explain a lot tbh. Since it’s stated that dahlia never existed, the young duke is an only child. If they ever wanted to hide dahlia, then she would’ve not participated in events like this at all, and then she wouldn’t be known.
But her attending this ball is bound to be remembered, even if her appearance is short.
Remember that og FL is an assassin, she could very well also be a spy. If she wanted to find out a person background, then she would’ve found out about dahlia.
