I was thinking it would be more of a shape changing thing.. like they would take on the appearance of a shovel. The knuckles were the handle, the trowel the spade, the spear the handle.. and the chain was the base that fused them all together so it wouldn’t be visible since it was melted into the others to give them additional properties.. rip Lloyd.. 😢
