I’m actually so incredibly touched that the prince loved her even before she’s started to work on herself. There’s just something so endearing to see one of these stories where people don’t just come over to the villainess’ side once she cleans up her act (like I get why that happens and it’s true that if you act awful irl people won’t like you). But it’s just really refreshing to see that she was loved even before she became the perfect FL we see in all these stories.
