…I really like the prince. He just seems more worldly and mature, matching well with our MC’s maturity.
Unfortunately, the Duke dude’s younger bro got more screen time than the other students, and Duke dude got more backstory fleshed out. He’s bland as hell, but it’s kinda obvious he’s endgame, what with the whole stereotypical “emotionless dark haired fair skinned duke (of the north lmao)” thing that he’s got going on.
Sigh.

I like him. I ship him with the MC more than the others. He at least didn’t start off halfway besotted with her right off the bat. They’re both respectful and friendly and curious about each other. Which… can be the beginning of the most beautiful romances. There’s nothing unfair about their relationship (apart from the status thingy, but honestly any male-female relationship in this Victorian-esque era setting is bound to be somewhat unequal anyway)
