Circlets power came from the main gem, so it wasn’t that hard to make it into a necklace.
She saved mansion by purifying all the black shadows (so they no longer could corrode mansion, previously it was said that mansion would fall apart within a year and this was last attempt to save it with those mages).
No, Marta is still bound to that box (her hair is in it) so she must be nearby that place (that artifact forces a person to be the mansion’s guardian).

This is just my guess but I’m guessing the crown had the ability to amplify a Sterne’s power. It would make sense since Lina always wore it and bc the Archduke family has the circle or whatever a Sterne is meant to purify
