Callting the fl “stupid” is a bit much. You didn’t read the original novel so why are you judging so much? By how their relationship is portrayed in the novel and based on her memories, they DO NOT have a close relationship so even if she did assume that the ML is talking about her, she would scrap that assumption because she does not have any solid evidence to support her theory. You’re calling her stupid but I think it is a bit silly of you to expect the FL to have a hasty assumption all because you do not understand the situation.
