🔽 yeah ikr, they try painting him like one of those faithful dogs that kiss the law. Like Flynn from the Tales of Vesperia games and movie. Yet he’s no better than a corrupt cop that he would loathe. Sure, maybe he could pretend to turn a blind eye, but at least make it within his character’s nature.

Why didn’t he interfere more quickly. Being a commoner isn’t the problem. A knight has a sworn oath to protect. Instead he’s not acting like a knight. He definitely paused thinking should he let this continue, that’s enough to prove he doesn’t deserve to be a knight. Years of mercenary habits don’t disappear. A real knight would save her immediately regardless of any past evil deeds, because that’s a knight’s duty. He has failed. He should quit.
