this makes absolutely no sense… if Cain wanted to join hands with Kayena why would he kill Raffello. Kayena arguably could already be convinced to join Cain and kill Vayel to “break” the contract as she would get her lifespan back. Killing Rafeal adds absolutely nothing to this story other than drama and to show her crying…
