It’s a hard lesson Cedric just learned. All people are fallible and everybody has a price. Aubrey would have continued to cause trouble as long as she lived. She disgraced her family and the duke.

Got what she deserved just think, since her sister managed to execute her as per the duke orders, they didn’t need further punishment.
But, thinking a litle more, how no one in her family ever tryed to stop her foolishness? Like, no one ever noticed that she was obsesses with her superior?

I’m so shocked, he actually had her executed! I feel so bad for her family, they didn’t deserve all of that. Poor Margaret, and poor Fiona who had to kill her own sister. I can’t believe just how foolish that girl was, it cost her her life and her family’s titles and reputations.

her death sentence will never make up for the immense amount of damage she has done!
The internal structure of the castle will have to be reconstructed and mapped due to the information leak of the interior of the castle (it’s not just that emergency tunnel that has to be destroyed) add in the fact that it will be found out that there are people who can be tricked into just giving away secret information for nothing will be catastrophic especially if hostile forces were to find out about it.
Add in all of the people who died because of that bitch and her greed for him!
The parents didn’t even take the responsibility of killing her, instead one of her sisters had to step up and do it!
I understand why she needed to be killed quickly though, as her continuing to be kept alive would be a huge risk factor for more information leakage and it might make other people think that they could survive even if they get caught leaking information which would lead to unknown info leaks popping up.
She will never even know just how much damage she did with her thoughtless actions.
And her family members will have to pay the price for what she has done, it has cost them their title and reputation which might be unable to be repaired for generations to come.
