The sister knows how to play the game and the brother is too young to know how. She’s putting him in the worst positions on purpose so I don’t blame the prince for feeling the way he does.

This is the way you end up with a prince that beheads is own father, seizes the crown, hangs his mother from the palace gates and marries his sister off to an old king of some minor kingdom far away that locks her in a room and only uses her for his plaything.
