Tbh I also really hates the former duke child!! His father is a pos. Being a dad he can be proud of? Dude you’re more than 10 years late. A simple apology will not take away what you did to him or his mother. I honestly want a character to say “I’ll forgive you if you make it up to me. All the missed birthdays you were with another woman, driving my mother to her death, the abuse I suffered, the abandonment I felt. I’ll forgive you if you make it up to me”
