   I think this is a good story. It progresses a bit slowly at first, but now that I’ve reached chapter 19, I’m really satisfied and haven’t dropped it. It’s getting better and better! Maybe nowadays people are used to stories that grab attention very fast, and some might not have the patience to stick around . but for me, I’m glad I did. I’m really enjoying it.

   There is 15 chapters as the time I am writing this and I agree with Nano_peanuts. You guys don’t even give a character a chance to grow anymore. The FL has been raised with little to no care. Molded to have no desire but to please her POS father. She is incapable of taking care of herself at this moment in the story. The same ones complaining about her at this point in the story are the same ones who complain when the FL is a boss girl out the gate and they find that boring. Let the story cook!!!

   I cannot reach more than ch.11. Fl is not only dumb. She is so arrogant, isnt she?! Her so-called courage to face any obstacle always end up with doom of someone else or let the ml handle her half ass failed act🫠 when she got threatened by father, goes back to his trap, accept the engagement with old man just to run away later by her maid’s sacrifice, then again with old man’s threat, she also accept his engagement(?!), luckily ml helps her out again. This is “fool her once, shame on them, fool her twice, shame on her”🫠

   Yeah, I hate people who expect the Female Lead to just know everything and be good at everything despite her background… Give her time to develop, if she’s still the same no matter how many chapters we go through, THEN she labeled as a pathetic FL.

   Fl lead is helpless,but she is not,completely pathetic, she tried her best to hold her grounds, she was a lady who was taught nothing but how to be wife of that scoundrel, surely people don’t expect a person to miraculously do,everything.

   FL is like a puppet to her dad, she can’t do anything against him and everything he wants her to do must be done including being in an arrange marriage. She wants to let go of the chains that binds her to him but she just can’t, then the ML appeared.. I don’t know if his helping her or he just wants something from her. 🤔😒 His kinda suspicious and creepy though..
