i think the situation is both duke and duchess’s fault…not to forget this is a storyline they can’t escape. the duke was obsessive and the duchess ran away because of that…good…that’s the duke’s fault..but taking shelter at the viscount’s house and enduring the torture along with her 5year old daughter is duchess’s fault…like when you make escape you should make a plan to live peacefully with your kids…she made no plan, went to a shitty viscount’s house and stayed there as a maid….like wtf , you are a duchess ,with a child.

LostLove bffr. What do you mean duchess is a villain? We know NOTHING of their relationship and why she actually ran away. On the other hand you defending the dad is WILD. He is CLEARLY in the wrong after she died. Yes okay, he was grieving and so? Just cause he was grieving we are going to excuse his neglect towards his kids? He killed the saint not his kids. He was their downfall, his sick obsession with his dead wife. He had three kids he could have cherished and loved, three kids that were ALIVE and given by his late wife but instead he focused on the dead. Not to mention even after the saint told him that she can’t revive, he still kept tormenting her again and again and again and again. How could you ever say that he isn’t a villain.

I’m not sure why the Duke is getting so hate . The duchess is the real villain in my eyes she left her obsessive husband (which is understandable) and went to viscount for help (understandable). But when he and his staff would treat you and your five year old like the gum under their shoe and let them folks to damn near torture your child instead of going back to husband or running away further away from both
