But i do agree that she is too dense. She doesn’t confide in her family to cure her illness and thinks they will abandon her even tho the signs of them loving her is all there and she admits to them. And she misunderstands love with investigation. Why would a royal investigator who as assumed by her knows that she knows his identity, ask u to call him by nickname? That’s wat a very close friend or lover does.

So sick of the MC now. Everything she does is the “stupid” option. Maid comes to her with a skin condition, begging to buy a super expensive potion which she clearly can’t afford? Doesn’t immediately think “Oh, I can instead tell her about my new product and make a fortune with a cheap solution” and instead comes up with some convoluted plan instead out of fear of “competition”. Bitch has an out to explain “I can’t use magic” and instead goes with the Duke’s r*tarded excuse of a “test”. Like, everything she does is the dumb option – despite the start trying to pin the MC as smart and revolutionising her families business.
