The Duke literally mentions the spell on her wrist but she can’t even be bothered to mention “apparently it was a gift from the Dean.” This story is written with such an annoying aspect. MC just brushed everything off so there’s always a misunderstanding. They are purposefully causing plot drama when it’s not needed.
