@Wait What ofc I get how she instantly realized he remembered but honestly speaking if I was Asiel I wouldn’t immediately get it even if I was having dreams and hints for a while because I’d still not exactly know what happened as in “was that a vision from a parallel universe? or vision from the future? Past life?” Like you know what I mean? Not just instantly KNOW where these memories are coming from. I’d probably have a similar reaction because I’d know what I saw was probably the reason why she was not very welcoming but I think it would’ve been better if he was horrified by what he was seeing and he knew this was a reality somewhere and just looked at her like “what the hell am I seeing” and with her reaction he’d realize things a bit more? That would be a better way to show it.

She doesn’t owe you any forgiveness and you also don’t deserve one. I’m so tired of this guy’s shallow drama. You see how his little brother did stuff? He was also wrong, but at least he made an effort to be close to her and give her what she needs, plus he stick with her all the time as an extra layer of protection (so people can’t just easily bully her)

I hope he isn’t the ml… It disgust me to think he’s the ml who hurted her the most…

riri07,
Because that’s a look of remorse and pity. She’s gotten a few hints from Michael that “the other me” is intruding into his subconscious, so it’s not implausible (from her perspective) that the same thing could be happening with Asiel, or even the Duke. She also had that run-in with the other timeline’s Asiel in the ‘treasure room’ in chapter 42-43. He’s a crying mess in that “dream”, too.
And I’m pretty sure it’s SUPPOSED to be a little trippy–this story is predominantly about the interplay of magic and psychology. There’s a TON of symbolism and figurative representation going on, with heavy allusion to classical Greek mythology (which ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is related to, via ‘Cupid and Psyche’).
The symbolism of Seinna seeing her real-time image reflected in Asiel’s tearful eyes is quite simple–he’s literally and figuratively seeing what’s really there. Earlier he was asking why he was treated differently of all his family, and resenting that bitterly–now he’s got his answer, and thus understands the full reason for her reserve towards all of Nox, but especially him.

thank you for update T^T

@riri07 Asiel had dreams and all that stuff for some time, this was just moment he was unable to deny truth anymore. But I agree, I really like that Siena isn’t forgiving everyone just out of blue and takes time to heal and move on, that is more realistic.

Is it just me or was it a bit confusing? How did he immediately know this was from the past and didn’t even question it and rolled with it? Shouldn’t he be confused a bit at least or just think it’s some sort of hallucinations? The story is good and quite nice. I like that Siena needs time to heal it’s realistic unlike the other stories where the fl is suddenly over it and just moving in but I feel like this part just fell off with Asiel just rolling with this instead of questioning things or just be a bit confused. It’s not everyday u find out u had a different past and even get glimpses of it.
