@chessie child psychopaths exist, unfortunately the world is a much more fu/ked up place than you realize. I’ll leave it at that, if I give the examples I know of it’ll kinda defeat the purpose of reading fictional stories.

This makes no sense, is that so easy for a child to kill anyone?
So what she hated the mistress, just cause of that it’s ok to kill and being a psychopath?
Characters that are purely evil without a hint of humanity is so boring and lazy.

I kindly understand why Lilian hate Alicia so much, its because Alicia mother was a mistress to Lilian father. Though is not Alicia fault, but from Lilian POV, Alicia and her mother is guilty.
I raised in family where my dad was cheat on my mom, Absolutely I hate the mistress and even the kids who born between them. When I was a kid, I point of them guilty for ruin my happy family.

it feels like a really poor type of unecessary evil villan , i mean she killed her mother as a child for what? it would make more sense if it was a step mother kind of thing
