Warning for new readers: the ending is *bad.*
It’s fine up to chapter 48 (some rushing in the last few chapters but not bad enough to ruin things), but then chapter 49, *the final chapter,* is a goddamn slideshow of a climax. It wraps up multiple (but not even all) loose threads, namely all the important ones, through narration and only a few images. It has no heart. It’s as anticlimatic of an ending as you can get while simultaneously showing how good the ending could have been with the smallest bit of effort. It essentially condensed what should have been multiple chapters of climax+epilogue, maybe about 10 or at *least* 5 chapters worth of content, into 1 chapter.
