I don’t know what this chapter was going for. Are they trying to make us feel sorry for the grand mage because of his sick mother? I don’t feel bad for him. Especially since they showed first life MC in this chapter. She was lying dead in the snow because his actions caused her to be murdered! That’s why I have no sympathy for that guy! He teamed up with that b*tch to ruin MC’s family. He didn’t care whether they lived or died as long as he could get his hands on that Aurastone. Which he couldn’t even use. And now they’re trying to make me feel sympathy for him because his mother is sick and dying? No! I don’t feel bad for him! I feel a little bad for the mother but most of that sympathy is drowned out by my hatred of the grand mage. He is basically an accomplice to a triple murder (MC’s family). I have no sympathy for that sh*tty f*cker. I hope he dies in the end.
