I don’t want him to keep suffering. She just said that his pain brings her pleasure, but it’s also stifling. She doesn’t know what she wants and his suffering is just bringing her a false sense of Pleasure.

I really like how the author portrays feelings. And yes, even if his actions made sense, I think her actions are just as justified and are a very realistic reaction. She didn’t get enough out of killing her father, it was quick and it didn’t bring her lost time or mother back, it didn’t erase her painful life experience. So the only one left, who she can freely loathe and hurt is Karl. She led such a devastating life, I don’t think I would behave any different.
