@idkjust leavemealowneee i understand what you mean but even though your wife betrayed you , can’t you at last visit her just once? I know, i get it, he is pissed because of her betrayal but he said, that what she wanted when he gave everything to her? Come on , what she wanted was love and his understanding. yes she kept quiet because he wouldn’t listen to her and the one who is the most in foult is ML’s father or whoever he was. I don’t think that ML is that bad but if he even had little trust in her he would investigate what happend soo i’m going to wait to see how he will change and tries to correct his mistakes.(sorry For my bad english)

Can’t root for the ML at all. First thing first, women have too little they can do in this setting. Why ML’s mom got crazy in the fisrt place? She has no saying of what happen to her at all. Same as the monastery thing for FL. At least have a look of the place she had to go with no choice.
And seriously, about the things ML provided for FL, it’s the basic of basic. Nothing more, no affection revealed so that FL can actucally feel being loved.
Also FL really just had no memory about that period of time, not even the part she got drugged. Of course this damn setting with no procedural justice to be blamed. But also men’s arrogance, no even knowing what could happen to a woman in that shitty society setting.

Ok im ngl, I understand The husbands point of view 100%. Imagine having a crazy mum whos forcing you to live up to the expectations of restoring her ROYAL title and you carry the guilt of driving her insane , btw he did not deserve any of thatt :((( , and just when You’re about to, your wife snitches and tells the whole world all your secrets and insecurities, and her only excuse is “I dont remember🥺 uwu’. I would be PISSED OFF. SO then she goes to the monastery and as soon as she comes back she hits you with divorce papers for being angry at her RIGHTFULLY SO because she has NO EXPLANATION. He LITERALLY told her ‘please just give me any justifications as to why you did this’ AND ALL THIS DONUT CAN SAY IS ‘ i cant remember’ ARGHHHHH AND ONTOP OF THAT her greedy azz even gets a HEFTY divorce settlement. Like I know he’s rich but imagine your partner betraying you, disappearing for 100 days then coming back to end things with you and getting money out of it.
