Also they go through the effort of saying that Elf waifu #1 places her protective seal on THAT very hand and then do nothing with it during that whole scene – unless that’s the reason it’s ‘white’ again? Lol, I don’t have high hopes either way.

This story is pure junk food. It doesn’t care about the nuance. How did he learn to use his holy power he couldn’t use? No one knows. How does his ‘hot guy’ saint aura help him? It’s probably one of the few consistencies, but is barely references other than making him seem ‘hot’. Why did his hand turn black, and was that a problem? Ohp, we don’t know. It’s back to being ‘white’ again! Not to worry!
Lots of jarring transitions, missing context, lacking explanations; it’s pure power fantasy jumping from achievement to achievement with minimal world building – at least we’re getting some development with the families dedicated to the saint/saintess, and it’s still pleasant enough of a read with very low stakes and consequences – but as a result, there’s also just gonna be less investment from people, too.
