As much as Shoujo Manwa has it’s issues, this is reminding me of why I find Shounen so hit or miss; Feels like male authors/focused stories are always so basic and lack any real consequences or sense of meaning to the world they’re in. You see this in isekai male fantasy slop every day. Interesting plot hook is the only think they have going for them, and then they fall off hard and fast because the author isn’t skilled enough to do interesting things with it past the premise.

As much as punching the dumbass pope in the face can be funny, this repeated trope lost it’s charm a long time ago. Once again – what use is ungodly powers if all he does with it is punch the literal story-arc’s villain to his ultimate defeat in one panel? It’s getting boring to read this. Does it ever get better?
