I get where she’s coming from. She’s been a doormat for too long, it’s gonna take some time and patience to get over that mindset. I only hope that afterwards she’ll show those scummy people the best revenge ever. Otherwise, this story would be too much of a letdown. I’m glad ML is with her rn, but if he’s the one taking her revenge for her in the future, then there’s literally no point of her transformation, or even this story. Just burn everyone to ground and be done with it, ML can do so with his status and powers.
