What she’s doing is correct and absolutely in her right. Those who’s dissing the MC have forgotten that she DID try to COMMUNICATE with him, but he never TRIED in return and just blankly ignored her or don’t respond to her. Sure, she might have guessed his childhood was terrible since he’s of a low-born blood of a woman with no high status, but it doesn’t give him the excuse to not try to talk to her or at least reach a compromise or mutually understanding… The only tidbit we got of him being just that is when he said he’ll wait until she’s ready and comfortable with him in bed. That’s it. Other than that, he did nothing else. So, she has the right to keep him at arm’s length because she’s still feeling that trauma she went through by marrying him.
I mean, what would you have done if you were in her shoes during that time period where women don’t really much rights except by their looks and their bloodline? Honestly, she’s giving herself time to heal while at the same time and space from him, maybe, just maybe, over time she’ll see that he’s worth someone to love. You just can’t rush these things.
I’m rooting for her to get back at everyone that wronged her so lets hope with every backstabber taken care of and gone, she can learn to love again and maybe love a certain someone~
