Honestly I appreciate the fact that there are no clear lines drawn in the sand between “good” and “evil” – it’s more real that way. Humans are all shades of gray, sliders on scales that tilt and shift depending on environment and a million other factors, and there is no such thing as a completely good person, and often even ‘complete evil’ isn’t 100% accurate. Sometimes a simple misunderstanding or lack of communication is enough to deteriorate a relationship, and perceptions are everything. For every manwa that falls flat on “intelligence” plotlines with dumbed down universes and extreme caricatures, this one at least encapsulates some realistic flaws and strengths to both villains and protagonists.

Idk how to feel. It’s likely that him from the future loved Leoni and there are just so many misunderstandings between them. But thinking back on how Leoni was treated by their servants while she was with him. Makes me think he either didn’t care enough to pay attention to what she was going through or just turned a blind eye. Which makes me wonder if he liked her as much as he appears to. Why did he let all that happen? He obviously wasn’t in the way that time since he was there when the maid through that brush and hit mc. Idkidk
