…Guidon still has no ability to face his own culpability, it seems. To my knowledge he’s never admitted that what he did to Paula and Leoni (OR Magda’s sister OR the maid he killed in a fit OR Nathan) was ‘wrong’, just that he ‘regretted’ it–in nuance, that’s more an admission of miscalculation than an expression of empathy for the lives he destroyed. Now he’s shame-dumping on Rutger to disguise his envy that *he* didn’t get any letters or presents, and projecting the Emperor onto Rutger to justify his pettiness and sense of victimhood.

At first it was quite fun and original, but now it’s starting to get really boring… She’s become as rotten as those she wants to punish, even though some of them are trying to change, like the 8th prince…
She uses people as pawns (like the guy she turned into another person, it’s all right, relax?), she wants revenge, she makes promises she doesn’t keep, she wants a new life and her old one too………
At some point it just gets annoying
