I think it’s a good idea to ban social media for those 14 and under. Iphones became popular when I started middleschool and it was a double edged sword. I found a toy/doll hobby and connected with its online community, which helped me get through dark times during my parent’s divorce. However, there were a few instances I got involved with some dumb teen drama. While I did learn from those experiences I saw other kids become obsessed exactly like this girl faking suicide attempts for attention.
