Her parents were responsible for kidnapping but not for his father’s death. From that freckled face, I’d say we know whose dad ACTUALLY killed his dad. He had that little weasel right in front of him and ended up torturing someone who doesn’t seem to be their daughter anyway. Not that it matters. He still did horrifying things to her, regardless of his “reasoning”.
