Spoiler warning Get ready the infamous candle scene is approaching, and it’s every bit as disturbing as you’ve heard. The fact that that the ML thinks inflicting more trauma and sexual violence will somehow fix Grace or undo brainwashing is absolutely deranged and BS it’s a calculated abuse.
That said, I genuinely respect Rosaline. She sees through Jerome’s entitled behavior and puts him in his place. She’s smart, sharp, and doesn’t tolerate nonsense a rare breath of sanity in this story LOL.
