Yeah… my main gripe with the brother is he doesn’t try to think about what she wants or what would make her happy. I’m really mad about the competition thing. TF?! You want to steal her glory from her and she’ll think you’re cool cause you beat her at a contest?! 🤦🏻♂️ hey maid! You’re an adult, you think this is a good way for them to “make they get closer”?!
This is the equivalent of joining the opposing team in soccer because your sibling is into it. Like tf?! Just cheer her on and watch her fight you idiots!!!! Don’t go forcing her to take a silver medal because you’re trying to get “closer”. You don’t even want the gold why tf would you take it from her? 🤬

@lukas4life yeah, I guess I am hating on the brother. Not saying he deserves to die like in her previous life, and I do agree that the father is using him. But at this point he’s been told multiple times that he needs to focus on becoming a good prince, and therefore a good emperor. Instead, he constantly forces his way into her limited space every time he wants to play. He is young for sure, but I think the real reason he doesn’t follow boundaries is that he always gets what he wants, so he can’t take any form of “no” for an answer. It feels like he’s going to cause enough trouble that she’ll just end up back at the palace. Maybe that’s what the author is setting up, but it’d be a shame if we have to watch her being abused for the rest of the series.

I wish she was less focused on Theon and more focused on her brother. In her last life she abused and then murdered Rey out of jealousy and in this new life she’s still hating him for the actions of her dad. She cares more about Theon than everyone else she murdered. It’s a missed opportunity for her to have a connection with him and show some growth. Plus the Theon relationship isn’t really needed. She was obsessed with him in her last life she didn’t love him. You don’t force marriage, murder the love ones, and drive ppl you love to die from helplessness.

Also, could someone tell her stoopid brother studying is important? It’s time to quit playing around. With some brains he’ll surely understand that everyone needs teir private time and his sister would like to communicate unstead of having him doing stuff radomly… Oh well!

@ilovenightcrawler I get what u mean and j agree that it’s not gonna be easy from them tp mend their relationship but I feel like ur hating on de brother he might be a little selfish but he’s LITERALLY like 12 or sum…. they both lock a parent who is genuinely invested in them. You might say that the emperor is invested in the prince but I believe the opposite, he uses the prince to make himself feel better about bulling his daughter and he also uses the prince to degrade his daughter . The prince might be a little dumb or selfish but any other kid his age would act the way in the same surcomstance. The only TRUE villain here is the emperor

I mean, what is she supposed to say? Like “y bro, my previous like was full of me killing innocent people so i could feel safe. Now I want to live peacefully rather than fighting to survive, but you keep trying to drag me back into the life I don’t want to repeat.” Even if they believed her, they wouldn’t back off. The brother is an egocentric idiot (as his test scores prove), and the black haired kid just follows along.
