She was wounded and damaged from years of neglect, but he was the one who was LITERALLY WHISPERING IN HER EAR about how “undeserving” her brother was, and lying about the Emperor’s final words to make her act. Sure, she’s not blameless, but he was the one who set her on that path with his lies and manipulation – otherwise she probably would have just faded away seething at her impotence. He has always been coded as the villain, and it’s hilarious seeing all the people who were fawning over him as a potential ML only just seeing it and now trying to make up excuses. Good money on all her flashbacks and memories slowly revealing more and more about the “truth” of her past – for example, Theon’s friendship with the other girl literally being just a friendship as he’s said in this life, her “Tyranny” being fairly mild (so far, the two things we know of her reign is that she won military victories – the first being a defensive war against the Water Spirit asshole, and the second being that she outlawed child labour. Super tyrannical… would bet the truth on Ethan whispering in her ear about fake conspiracies in the nobility later on, and urging her to purge them)

But now that she has realize it, she already put some boundaries on her action and choice that should be made. And it does not simply change someone’s OG character on it’s own y’know ➰🔻➰🍿
Ethan’s not the reason she became a tyrant. Fl became a tyrant on her own because of emotions and being neglected and kept in the shadows. Ml was just her right hand man who encouraged her to become a tyrant. In the end becoming a tyrant was her choice since she could have chosen to not kill her brother and pretend she never knew Ml, in the end she had the choice and did it of her own accord. So dont blame Ml for her behavior 😒
