Yenlim what 😭 did we read the same manhwa because Ethan loves Dorothea more than an empress. He never used her, he wanted her to have happiness through revenge. You are acting like only he is at fault when it was Dorothea’s choice too. None of these characters are innocent. Not Dorothea, not Ethan, not Theon, not Raymond. That’s what makes this manhwa amazing, because everyone is guilty. This is so much more complicated than good and bad.

@tsuki_moth41 Ethan is a monster. In a pretty much literal sense of the word. Theon is a damp cloth. Dorothy needs to ditch them both and just ditch royalty to be with her found family living a happy life.
Ethan only sees her as an “Empress” and forced her into a bad position in this life after ruining her first life. He basically looks at Dorothy just like Dorothy looked at Theon -an object of affection, but with no depth or knowledge about them.
Theon in the first life only saw her as a means to be close to Ray. In the second life it seems that he at least has some actual feelings for her, but has just been too passive and missed his shot when she needed someone to make her realise she deserved love. Only slight positive compared to Ethan in that regard is that he doesn’t have the benefit of two lifetimes worth of experience or knowledge of her situation.
Both are terrible people, with Ethan being outright evil, and Princess deserves happiness with Clara, Stefan, Joy and Po.
