I don’t think she’s smart, what if the guards didn’t take that little girl seriously? Then she is also blinded by her “friendship” to notice her buddy’s sus. It doesn’t make sense she isn’t questioning and still siding with the empress despite her 180° change. I guess FL is just a tad smarter than the usual stupid heroines we get. 🤷♀️
Her supposed friend is like ” Yayy empress let’s kill the servants!” To “You’re right empress beating people is bad”…..
