It’s funny how it just take one WRONG person and all the others follow suit like lemmings over a cliff.
Anyways, I went back and checked. ML GAVE MC THAT NECKLACE IN CH 61. He bought it at a stall for ten silvers from a mousy brown haired lady that I doubt had anything to do with og fl at all.
All og fl gave to mc was the ribbon (ch 66, the PREVIOUS CHAPTER), which this chapter said they had inspected and came back as nothing special.
However, we now know that to be false, because as soon as the ribbon came back to mc she was attacked by a mysterious force. The necklace probably then activated to protect her.
@3zr419 @boboba Stop spreading misinformation. The necklace didn’t do the thing. It was the ribbon. Next time please get your facts straight before you start accusing.
@Simpin Slut Well duh! The ribbon was given by og fl and mc is right to distrust her. Why would she remove the necklace when it was a gift from ml and said to protect the wearer?

You guys are all wrong. The necklace didn’t do anything. The ML bought it at a jewellery stand during their night out during the festival. The necklace is supposed to protect against evil forces. This happened a few chapters ago. Do you guys not remember? They even talked about how it was just a cheap trinket so how could it be a relic of the goddess. But MC still likes it anyway. The ribbon probably did something and the necklace protected against it.
