It reminds me of the Matrix when the machines said that they tried to give the humans a perfect life, but the human mind couldn’t handle it and kept seeing through it. It’s like he’s trying to give her a perfect life, but her brain knows that’s not possible so she keeps seeing through it.
Ok. I think I have a theory: This guy is a god and she was cursing him everyday for her terrible life. The “bastard” nickname made me think of Nivea (Anyone Can Become a Villainess) and led me to that conclusion. Now, if he is a god, it leads to a whole lot new questions. I haven’t been so surprised by a story for a long time, so I hope it will continue!
I want to see more, this is fun :3 Some questions tho, if she really had an accident, wouldn’t someone from her family at least come over for a visit? Has she got no family at all or… And the previous time when the husband’s cufflinks disappeared suddenly?.. What if she’s not on earth at all, what if that’s why husband’s food tastes chemical because he’s literally lab-generating the food?.. What if the people they see at the hospital aren’t people either?.. Hmm.
Maybe they’re on earth and he’s somehow manipulating everyone, that’s why he can’t keep a normal human face or the cufflinks going stable – something’s glitching about him so he can’t keep his appearence the same. But then again, where’s MC’s family?? 😀 Not to mention lack of wedding photos? Come on girl, who doesn’t have wedding photos at least framed in one place… He’s not just a cosmic entity kidnapping or glamouring a human with lies or something, something else is going on meow!! :”3
