Didn’t rabeth say somewhere in the beginning chaps that Lansus was originally a girl and had a wish granted to turn her into a man? I can’t remember if he mentioned anything about witches specificly, but it was bc she faced a lot of stigma. So people would listen more if she was a he as (king? Or was it like pope or top wizard?)🤔
