I started this manhwa because I got good comments from a friend, but god, this thing is making me mad. It’s once again the typical story of the girl that regress / transmigrate into a poor neglected girl and that *magically* makes everyone get head over heels for her.
Somehow the author finds an excuse for her old family for being cold and distant in the past and the FL gets to forgive them (because “Why not?”) and then they’re obsessed. Of course, the girl doesn’t see that, she’s dumb and oblivious. I lost the count of the times her family was getting furious at someone that disrespected her and that she had to calm them down with puppy eyes. It’s okay one time, but that cliché as been going on for too long now. Every character linked to the girl is said to be a genius but turns useless in a serious situation. The FL isn’t any better, she relies on her powers and her family to save her without trying. She’s said to have regressed but you can’t feel at all that she used to be a grow woman.
If you are looking for some real character development, SKIP. The girl doesn’t change at all.

The story begins to border on stand-up. FL has made a decision that she will not be used, but in the meantime she is unable to make any sensible decision. She makes mistake after mistake. She lets herself be led by the nose. The best example is the last chapter. Duke, despite being blindly devoted to his “daughter”, is unable to defend her in any situation. Where is his supposed political power due to his position (I do not mean pure physical strength)? The emperor is a complete waste. How on earth did he not initiate an investigation after the alleged death of both his wife and child. Why was no one charged with being tried after the alleged child was illegally cremated? The prince is just a little fool with no real position. The only thing he can do is impose his presence. So-called faith has the most to say here, as usual. Everyone blindly listens to it and does not even think of questioning its actions. I read enough of this crap in real life to have to do it in manhwan. No thanks!!

Currently chapter 47 and I can honestly say this had promise but now it’s just blatantly awful.
A FL who can’t make a decision for herself, an emperor and his son who are obsessed with someone they somehow “lost” at some point which is the FL.
An empress and her daughter obsessed with taking the FL’s powers.
A Duke who adopted the FL and his son who are better than the others but have their hands and feet tied by bad story writing.
Skip for now. Maybe later with more chapters or if the emperor and his son die off will the story get better.
