I don’t get your guys complaints, he is not arrogant he is just confident after all wouldn’t you if you had a fucking dragon as a pet that started off with lvl 20-30 stats. As for that stupid comment of him mooching off his aunt that is just dumb. I mean did you mooch off your parents that raised you when you were young. MC is still in high school I wouldn’t call that mooching unless he was an adult relying on his aunt to support him well he just sat around doing nothing. As for refusing the money and wanting the rewards it’s a fair deal. The other party just wanted a tag along but he wants a share of the rewards. He could kill that entire party if he wanted to but instead he asked to be treated fairly and get a fair share based on performance. How is that an audacity it seems you people either had an easy life or you just live in a bubble. Even in real life you get your share based on performance. An also it’s them that are in need not him he is within his right to negotiate terms. So in summary if you think he is being arrogant or mooching you are dumb

I agree with the comment before me. The behaviour change is just to abrupt, its nothing but a shit level of developement. Bet mc will keep being arrogant out here but trying to stay lowkey outside, however still showing his haughty thought that somehow will show, and other people will realise.

Already arrogant as predicted. He’s being offered money but has the audacity to say “I’m not interested in money” when the author has been trying to make us sympathetic to him because he’s been mooching off his aunt that has to cook for a living and is unable to make a lot of money. On top of that even though he’s being compensated just to fill a party slot he’s already got it in his head to not only steal the rewards from the dungeon but also negotiate to take more based on participation. Chinese manhuas are just the worst.. I’m probably dropping after next chapter.
