I’m sorry but this is way too much . I get yuri’s grandfather’s sadness but calling a kid a grim reaper is way too much when he himself lost someone who was the only one who loved him . This is ridiculous . Klaus grew up without being loved , being called a grim reaper by his own father ,How tf do you expect him to love ? I also get fl’s situation regarding yuri but I’m sorry I don’t blame klaus for everything . He didn’t learn how to love so he wasn’t able too love . He wasn’t able to do anything except taking responsibilities as an emperor because that’s how he grew up . I don’t even know who to blame right now .

I feel bad for the emperor. Living a long life with a father like that while trying to cope with the fact that he couldn’t be close to anyone to avoid losing them in return. Now I’m convinced that his previous words with the empress and his son had his own reasons to begin with.
