This ties in to the duke being stupid, but dude at least do a bg check or send spies (maids/guards) on the “biological” dad before giving him a tower and ditching your daughter with him. Ask her if she wants to leave/stay and come by like CPS to see if she’s doing okay, y’know? Maybe there’s a reason why your wife didn’t leave you for her “manstress”.

@Gahenna I agree, being stupid doesn’t automatically make them evil. He though he questioned his wife’s fidelity, he still cared for the child. Even when her “biological” father showed up, no matter how it hurt him he didn’t want to keep her away from her “real” dad.
Even my mom always says she won’t keep me from seeing my pos father no matter how bad he’s emotionally hurt me. Just because she hates his guts from the divorce, doesn’t mean I should to bc I’m different as his child. Except I’m like. “B*tch, hell no I’d rather call you daddy (😏 ) and make father’s day your 2nd mother’s day.”

i’m guessing the adoptive mother probably killed everyone in the tower. she was the one who found Perrian which makes no sense in the first place cus it’s a restricted area in a different country. plus Perrian considering her a mother would probably help her a lot politically. She also hiding a lot which means she doesn’t consider her family. it all reeks of a massive conspiracy

Am i the only one that doesn’t completely hate the family? Yeah the dad shouldn’t have thought the wife was cheating but that’s on him the brothers didn’t have control over wtf was happening and it’s not like they left her abandoned they genuinely thought that dude was her dad, their bloodline shouldn’t be able to carry magic, && the tower was suppose to be safe. Clearly someone’s behind it all
