This is a nice story. The MC is an illegitimate child of an abusive and poor noble family. At the age of 12, she remembers her past life and decides to leave the house to become a knight. Now that she’s a commoner, there are only bad rumors about her, even though she is one of the best knights. Years later, she finds out that she’s in a novel. Luckily, she is never mentioned in it, but unluckily, she is given a task to catch a phantom thief (ML, who is a sub-ML in the novel). It turns out the ML only steals illegal items, which confuses the MC about the novel’s plot since the ML is supposed to be a villain who transforms into a good guy because of the heroine. The MC is still suspicious of him, though.
